Toonen Properties is currently seeking a part-time Application Rental Application Specialist in Green Bay. This position supports daily property management operations with a focus on application processing, lease administration, tenant account management, and reasonable accommodation requests.
Responsibilities:
- Review and screen rental applications in accordance with company policies and established criteria.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all applications.
- Communicate application status updates to prospective residents as needed.
- Prepare and distribute new lease agreements and lease renewal documents.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of all lease-related documentation.
- Maintain organized and compliant lease records.
- Ensure all charges and adjustments related to lease agreements are recorded correctly.
- Assist in resolving account discrepancies when necessary.
- Review and process reasonable accommodation requests related to assistance animals.
- Maintain a general understanding of Fair Housing Act guidelines and HUD requirements.
- Ensure all requests are handled in a compliant, timely, and confidential manner.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organized, self-motivated, and energetic with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing Laws and reasonable accommodations is preferred.
- Experience with Rent Manager software is preferred, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of property management practices is preferred.
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 2:00pm.
- Approximately 20–30 hours per week.
